Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and identify preferences by asking pointed questions
- Recommend hairstyles according to guest face shapes and tastes. Wash, rinse and dry guest hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (customized for guests)
- Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment and products
- Apply hair treatment products, as needed
- Form bonds with guests to create loyalty
- Manage bookings and service walk-in guests
- Ensure tidiness of salon, work stations and sterilization of tools, as needed.
- Cross sell products and services when appropriate.
Skills
- Work experience as a stylist
- Proficiency in hair straightening and curling methods using hot tools
- Hand-on experience with various coloring techniques
- Familiarity with hair treatments products and services
- Valid cosmetology license from the State of Colorado
Hours
- 32-34 hour work week
